Q. If my hamster dose have a token leg what will happen? Also how much will treatment cost?

Answered By

A. You probably meant a broken leg. It's more common for them to actually dislocate the leg, but either way the treatment will probably be amputation of the leg.

Every procedure under anesthesia is risky with hamsters, but recovery from this surgery is always very good.

Price wise it really can vary according to where you are going to do it. Ideally it should be done by an exotic vet, but the price could be 4 times more. You are looking at anywhere between 150$-600$
