A. Unfortunately cats with hyperthyroidism are often suffering from cardiomyopaties as a result of that (hear failure). This could very well explain the symptoms you are describing and i'm afraid it's very bad news.

She might be able to get stabilized at the vet with some medications, she might even perk up on meds for a few weeks, maybe a couple months, but generally the prognosis is not good.
