Q. My cat sooki seems to scratch herself to the point of seeing blood and she vomits after she has a little nibble. What do I do and how do I prevent?

Answered By

A. When vomiting and scratching are present, there is a high chance that food allergy is causing this, try to switch to a better quality grain free dry food and see if it's helping.

Another condition known to cause both symptoms is hyperthyroidsm. She will usually also show increase appetite and loss of weight. This condition is diagnosed with the help of a blood test and is treatable medically.
