Q. What rxs besides Gabapenten can be given for osteoarthritis?

Answered By

A. Metacam and rymadil are the most common pain killers given for osteoarthritis. If they stop working, the vet will usually prescribe previcox or something similar to it.

It's also possible to add Tramadol, which is another type of pain killer.

Flexadine advanced, a new joint supplement, seem to also work very well for these conditions.
