Q. I have noticed once, two days ago and again tonight a little bit of mucus near my rabbits nose. He has also sneezed a few times tonight.can u advise?

A. This condition is caused by a bacteria called Pasteurella. It's very common in rabbit and can sometimes be difficult to get rid off. It usually causes upper respiratory infection - sneezing and nasal discharge being the main symptoms.

The treatment is medical (antibiotic called baytril for 3-4 weeks) and can be prescribed by your vet.
