Q. My 15Ib dog ate half a peanut butter bar that contained chocolate chips, salt, and nuts but he is not showing any symptoms. What should I do??

Answered By

A. It really depends on the amount of chocolate and the type of chocolate, usually these bars contain little amounts of milk chocolate, which should not cause a toxicity level for your dog.

Monitor him for vomiting, lethargy and neurological signs, but I think he should be fine. If he shows any of those signs take him to the vet.
