Q. My parrot is having blood droppings .is there any remedy which can be done at home?

Answered By

A. Bloody droppings are a sign of either severe intestinal infection (usually candida), or severe urinary infection/tumor. There are no remedies you can help with at home unfortunately, you will have to take him to an avian vet ASAP.

First thing to check is the feces, if candida is found then the treatment is quiet straight forward (antifungal twice a day for 3-4 weeks), otherwise a blood test is next.
