Q. bunny orange urine thought it was from change of outdoor cage to indoor cage because of cold weather but now thinking urine infection

Answered By

A. It could be a urine infection but it could also be affected by what she eats. does she eat a lot of carrots or other orange food? if so this is probably the reason for the orange urine.

A. To diagnose UTI, have your vet collect a sterile urine sample for urinalysis and culture. Blood work may be able to diagnose kidney disease. Provide fresh water at all times and make sure your rabbit is drinking. Review the diet as some foods or food additives may discolor the urine.
