Q. My kittens have a eye infection have I been using wArm tea to clean the crusty stuff off but it's not really helping now what can I do?

A. It's time to take them to the vet as they will lose their eyes very quickly if it's left untreated. they need antibiotic eye drops/ointment in order to treat the infection - you can get those at the vet.

A. This is likely part of the cat flu complex. Lysine enriched, high quality kitten food can help to lessen the severity and length of disease and if there is secondary infection or a chlamydophila component (particularly thick yellow-green discharge) then an antibiotic drop and even oral antibiotics may also be required. Any eye conditions not resolving within 72hours in kittens should be treated as severe ulcers can threaten vision for the cat and are painful
