A. Ok so it sounds like your pet may have created a puncture through his dog palate and subsequently could have injured the sensitive nasal turbinates which a re highly vascular and can bleed easily during trauma. One good thing is that oral lesions can heal fairl y quickly. But one thing we have to consider here is the risk of a foreign body ( a part of the stick) that could be lodged in the nasal cavity and is still there. We also have to consider if any major vessels were also injured in the process. Hopefully the bleeding had already stopped. And hopefully there are no foreign bodies there that will cause further complications (i.e. Infection, nasal discharge, inflammation).
