Q. i just got a kitten and she is super skinny and her butt is all red and she rubbed her butt on me and some kind of liquid appered on my wrist.

A. Poor kitty. If kitty is underweight and has evidence of colitis (raw rear end) I would be concerned about intestinal parasites as the cause. The liquid that came out could have been either her anal gland secretions (two inner sacs on the inside of her rectum, usually with a foul or fishy odor) or secretions from her colon. If you see any small fried rice looking organisms the this is a tapeworm. So my best advise here is to get kitty examined by a vet for a decal examination and a look at her anal glands just to make sure they are normal. Kitty at the very least needs a good overall dewormer (if hasn't had one already) and a high quality cat food to help with malnutrition.
