Q. In the last 3-4 days my two Yorkies have had diarrhea no change in their food, may have eaten something at my brothers at Thanksgiving what can I do

Answered By

A. Change in diet or new treats can often cause low grade diarrhea, monitor for fluid intake to ensure no dehydration develops. There are many over the counter pastes which include prebiotics and probiotics which can help to rebalance the gut. A bland diet for 48 hours (boiled chicken and rice or a specific wet gastrointestinal diet) can help or else confine to the food they are used to eating and nothing else
