A. I recommend you get a referral to a specialist and also an ultrasound of the prostate and bladder to rule out tumors and/or stones or crystals which can effectively scratch the lining of the bladder and cause bleeding. A culture and sensitivity test of a sample taken during ultrasound scan can be tested to see which antibiotics are most likely to be affected if there is still an infection present aggravating the problem
