Q. My dog is licking her paws alot, but also licks everything, couch, covers, and everything, please help, I feel this is something that needs attention.

A. This may be an indication of a nutritional deficiency or a bowel disorder whereby she is not absorbing all the nutrients from her food, especially if her coat is also affected. A high quality, easily absorbed diet such as royal canin gastrointestinal or hypoallergenic may help. Allergies, including food sensitivities can cause licking of the feet and I would recommend hypoallergenic for 8 weeks with nothing else other than water, no treats, bones or flavored tablets
