Q. I have a female dog and I believe she had a miscarriage because she wss bleeding from her viginal area and the blood was Brown but never saw a pup

Answered By

A. This may indicate a severe infection as dogs tend to reabsorb pups which do not survive. I recommend you get her fully assessed by a vet as soon as possible, she will likely need medication or surgery to empty her womb if there is any fluid still inside and antibiotics if there is an infection present. Do not delay as these can become serious very quickly
