Q. He threw up some bile, is acting lethargic and won't eat. He's been vaccinated against parvo. His poop was normal this morning. These are broad symptoms

A. Mild vomiting and loss of appetite is not uncommon and if he is otherwise bright and drinking water I would offer bland food (intestinal diet or boiled chicken/rice) and plenty of fluids for 36hours and monitor for any further signs. Extreme or persistent vomiting may indicate a severe infection or intestinal obstruction and should be assessed as a matter of urgency
