Q. My Rottweiler has been having a cough and mucus in her nose. My vet can't see her till ties at 4 is there anything I can do for her till then??

A. I recommend you contact the clinic again and request a more urgent appointment. Nasal discharge can be an indication of infection, foreign bodies or inflammation from soft tissue structures in the nose, all of which can be uncomfortable conditions and respond best to timely treatment. Consider contacting an emergency clinic if you cannot arrange an earlier appointment
