Q. Pink eye not responding to ointment by vet, over a month now.poor coat is good given yumega, been to vet twice, very worried now

A. You are not saying which medication is given to your dog. Your dog may have an autoimmune disease called Keratitis sicca which needs to be addressed with a different medication than a regular eye ointment. Maybe it is time for a referral to an eye specialist who will specifically test for eye diseases, and give your dog a thorough ophthalmic exam. Have a chat with your vet about a referral.
