Q. My older cat is sneezing a lot and is losing a lot of hair

Answered By

A. Your kitty could be suffering from an upper respiratory infection, a foreign body or growth in her upper airways. Allergies also cause sneezing.. Sneezing is always a sign of trying to get rid of something that is irritating the upper nasal passages. Best to have a veterrinarian check her. Losing fur can be from an endocrine disorder, fungal or bacterial skin disease, over grooming, again allergies and parasite infection such as , for example mites or fleas. Best to have the vet check this as well.
