A. Rogaine (Minoxidil) is very poisonous to cats. If your cat ingested Minoxidil or came into skin contact with it, watch out for the following signs: breathing problems, lethargy, general malaise. Lethargy and low blood pressure typically occur within 12 hrs and fluid in the lungs and cardiac problems within 3-4 days. If your cat has come in contact with Minoxidil (Rogaine) please immediately call your vet or the APCC's 24 hrs emergency hotline at 888-426-4435
