Q. my dog ate part of one of my Celebrex capsules. What should I do.

Answered By

A. Unfortunately you do not tell the strength of the capsule. As in all medications, the dosage determines the toxicity. A Miniature Schnauzer is a small dog, so even part of a human dose of celebrex can be detrimental. Unfortunately there is no safe dosage given at this time. I suggest you see your veterinarian, especially if your dog exhibits vomiting, diarrhea, malaise. If the ingestion happened within the past hour go to a Pet ER immediately and they will make your dog vomit.
