A. Soft stool by itself is not a problem, Very soft, pudding type stool is not normal, neither is diarrhea. If you have fed her rice and chicken for 4 days and there is no improvement, you should take her to a vet as it is likely that she has a gastrointestinal infection that may need antibiotics.

A. There might be something in this food that she is allergic to. try a good quality grain free dry food (e.g. Orijen, Accana, Evolve), transition to the new food gradually over a period of 10 days (every day put a little more from the new food and a little less from the old food). keep her o the food for 2 months to decide if it helps or not.

If it doesn't solve the problem or it is getting worse, don't wait 2 months - take her to the vet.
