Q. my dog has a red bump on its side and it is not leaking pus. i suspect that it is a infected hair follicle, but im not sure and im worried

A. Best have a veterinarian look at this mass. It could be a tumor or an allergic reaction. Your vet may want to take a biopsy or a Fine Needle Aspirate (FNA) where he takes a little bit of tissue with an injection needle and looks at it under a microscope or sends it in to a lab to determine the type of mass.
