Q. My cat has been pucking for 3 days. Been eating an using litter box. Just now he picks up foam spit.

A. Vomiting is a symptom of an underlying medical problem. Since your cat has been vomiting for 3 days, he needs to be seen by your veterinarian for an exam. Your vet may also recommend blood work to check your cat's hydration and overall health. Blood work is very useful for dianostic purposes - helping the vet determine why your cat may be vomiting. Additionally, your vet may want to check a stool sample for intestinal parasites so make sure to bring a fresh (still soft) sample with you to the appointment (refrigerate sample if collected several hours before the appointment).
