Q. I give my 12 pound Coton a second dose of Triifexis after 2 weeks in errorNow I am worried

A. Your dog should be fine. We actually will recommend giving flea treatments two weeks apart to get a flea problem under control and doubling up on the heartworm shouldn't hurt anything either. Just wait for the regular four weeks to go by before dosing her again. Some people put the stickers in their checkbook or a payment book for a bill they pay regularly, to remind them that is also the same time to give the heartworm and flea preventative. Of course, if she does develop any adverse symptoms, get her in to see a vet right away.
