Q. My dog sneezed twice and cried out, then instantly went lame on his front left leg. Eased off overnight but moved awkwardly and is limping again.

A. As an older dog, he may have moved in such a way when he sneezed that it aggravated an existing condition with arthritis or degenerative joint disease. I recommend getting him in to see your vet as soon as possible for an exam and x-rays to determine the cause of his acute lameness and get hims started on treatment and pain relief as soon as possible.
