A. Sadly, Cavaliers suffer for a host of congenital abnormalities that may cause these symptoms. Middle ear infections, intervertebral disc disease (IVDD), syringiomyelia, just to name a few could cause the signs you are seeing. I recommend getting him in to be seen by your vet as soon as possible for an exam and labwork,possibly diagnostic imaging to help determine the cause of his condition and get hims started on treatment..
