Q. Where is best location for crate in the home?

Answered By

A. The best location is usually an out of the way, quiet spot where your dog can be undisturbed when resting. Most dogs come to think of their crate as their den and will seek it out when tired or frightened. Keep that in mind when choosing a location. Some people like the crate to be in their bedroom, others a more central area like a den or dining room. If your dog already has a spot that he seems to gravitate to, place the crate there, fill it with his blankets and a few toys and let him check it out.
