Q. My kitten is 9weeks old and its bowel movement is not solid its very loose and she barely makes it to the litter box....what can I do to help her

A. Submit a stool sample to your vet to rule out or diagnose intestinal parasites. Withhold food for 12 hours. Allow small amounts of water. Feed a bland diet (boiled chicken and plain white rice) until the stool is normal. Transition slowly to a quality canned kitten food. If the diarrhea continues, see your veterinarian.
