Q. What about giving your cat FIV -Feline Immune Deficiency virus VACCINATION? I

Answered By

A. The vaccine, like other vaccines, is not 100% reliable in conferring protection. The problem is that it generates antibodies that make it very difficult to determine later whether the cat is infected with FIV or only vaccinated. The only sure way to protect cats is to prevent exposure to the virus. Keep your cat indoors and away from unknown cats and adopt only FIV negative cats into your household.
