Q. Can meningitis symptoms leave and come back? We took dog to vet and vet wanted him to rest overnight to see if he improved and he has ( couldn't walk)

Answered By

A. The symptoms of meningitis can vary depending on how sick your dog is. Most cases of meningitis develop as secondary complications of other diseases caused by bacterial infection. Meningitis can be difficult to diagnose and frequently, if it is suspected then treatment is initiated. The fever associated with this condition may come and go. In most dogs it can be treated successfully if caught early.
