Q. My cat has hook worms and cannot be seen for another week. Is there any home remedies I could do for her until she is seen in a week from now?

Answered By

A. It is best (and safest) to use a dewormer prescribed by your veterinarian. The veterinary products on the market are very safe and effective. Monitor for lethargy, loss of appetite, pale gums or GI upset. Your vet may be able to dispense medication if you submit a stool sample to confirm the diagnosis.
