Q. My German shepherd is 2.5 years old and now is showing aggression with the family members

Answered By

A. Have him examined by your vet to rule out medical causes. Illness or disease can cause behavioral changes. If he is an intact male, have him neutered. Begin or reinforce obedience training and include ALL family members. Each member must take turns feeding, walking/exercising or playing with the dog. The dog must understand his place in "the pack". A consult with a veterinary behaviorist and certified trainer is always recommended in these cases.
