Q. Our dog has arthritis I have read that fish oil and gelatin are a natural way to help this condition. What amounts for a 16 lb dog would you recomend

Answered By

A. These are excellent supplements to manage arthritis. There are commercial products such as Cosequin or Dasuquin that are specifically created for dogs. Treating at home with fish oil and gelatin can be tricky and could lead to GI upset. Discuss treatment options with your veterinarian. Search www.pet360.com for joint supplements.
