Q. Hi.. I think my young cat is pregnant...she's been gaining weight and eating more than usual. What kind of "nest" do I need to set up for her?

Answered By

A. Cats gestate fro an average of 63-65 days. A nesting box can be as simple as a hamper or basket located in a quiet, warm dimly lit area of the house. Line it with newspaper then puppy pads and top it with clean, soft towels or blankets. Change the top layer as needed to keep it clean and dry.
