Q. I have been treating with flea treatment applied on the back of the neck area. All my cats 4) have dry scaly skin and some bald spots with thinning fu

A. I am concerned with what type of flea medication you are using. Your cats may have had a negative reaction to the product. I do not ever recommend applying products bought at stores that are not endorsed by veterinarians. Products like Sentry and Hartz have been shown to cause problems. I would not use the product again and instead switch to a veterinary recommended product like Vectra, Revolution, or Advantage Multi.
