Q. How much should I be feeding a 10-12lb pom ? I feed him 1/4 cup in am and 1/2 in the pm. He eats all his food in one sitting & always acts hungry,

A. Many dogs will continue to beg for food long after they have eaten a substantial meal. Smaller breeds can be predisposed to weight gain so it is important to evaluate her body condition. If she is maintaining a good weight, then it is likely that you are feeding her enough. If she has a fat layer over her ribs and no tummy tuck, you may need to gradually decrease her food.
