Q. Back leg appears broken, dragging it. Broken skin. No $ to take to vet. Keeping her still warm cleaned around wound. We are trying to splint it?

A. I'm extremely sorry to hear that this has happened to your cat but it is necessary that she sees a veterinarian. You cannot repair this injury yourself and she may end up with a permanently damaged limb or life threatening infection. She must be in extreme pain and requires medication. Many vets will work with people with financial concerns. CareCredit is a great resource that will let you open a medical line of credit for your cat's veterinary bills. Otherwise, you can reach out to local rescues or start a GoFundMe campaign.
