Q. How do I stop my timely-, well-fed, overweight cats from swallowing food whole, stealing other cats' food and generally being preoccupied with food?

Answered By

A. The best thing to do is start meal feedings, where you feed your pets twice a day. Feed them all separately in designated areas or rooms. You can feed them then shut the door to allow them to finish their meals. You can purchase a slow down bowl or add a bit of water to stop them from scarfing their food.
