Q. Trying to get dog to eat, has cancer. Was on prednisone but considering azium - which is best for appetite stimulation?

Answered By

A. Loss of appetite can be connected with irritation of the gastrointestinal tract caused by drugs, pain and general poor condition. Report that to your vet. You can give him boiled chicken, try to heat the food to make it more smelly, mix it with something that your dog like ( like chicken soup), change diet to wet food that can be more palatable, use some drugs ( like peritol or vitB- after consultation with professional)
