Q. My dad lost one of his meloxicam tablets 7.5 mg. I am not sure if one of my 2 dogs found it and ate it ( 9 lbs each) how can I know if they did?

Answered By

A. if one of your dog ate the tablet it is likely that he/she will show signs of intoxication which can be very serious (stomach ulceration, kidney failure). If there is a chance that he/she did eat the tablet you should take both your dogs to your vets and treat both with intravenous fluids and gastropretectants.
