Q. Puppy diagnosed with lymes. Not improving pacing.. Foaming at mouth..no appetite. Sitting in corners..lethargic. Foul smell from mouth.

Answered By

A. If your puppy is having a worsening of symptoms or is not improving with his current treatment, it is best to contact your veterinarian again. Your vet may recommend another appointment to address and look at the symptoms and can recommend additional medications to help.

New or foul smells on the breath can sometimes indicate problems with metabolism or organ function. As your puppy is having a large number of symptoms, speaking with your vet again is best.
