A. It is possible that the mating may have resulted in pregnancy, or it may not have and you are seeing the remaining signs of a heat cycle. If she is still interested in the male, you may see if they are willing to mate again, however if she is not receptive it may be past her ovulation cycle. In a few weeks you can have her examined by your vet to determine pregnancy. If the bleeding continues, worsens, or turns green or yellowish in color, or she shows any signs of illness such as vomiting, diarrhea, or lethargy, then it is best to consult with your veterinarian.
