Q. My cat sleeps in awkward ways and sleeps for long

Answered By

A. Cats will often sleep in "funny" positions and be perfectly comfortable. Some kittens have even been known to fall asleep hanging partially off objects! Cats will also begin to sleep slightly more as they age from very active kittens to calmer adults. However, if your kitten is not having usual bursts of energy every so often, is very lethargic to the point of never moving much, or has other signs of illness such as vomiting, diarrhea or loss of appetite, then scheduling a vet checkup to look for underlying issues is best.
