Q. My French Bulldog wont eat but drinks a lot of water

Answered By

A. If your Frenchie hasn't been eating, he may be experiencing some GI upset. Offering a bland meal of boiled chicken and rice may entice him to begin eating again and help him feel better. However, if he still refuses to eat, or has other signs of illness such as vomiting or diarrhea, tender tummy, or blood in the vomit or stool, it may indicate something more serious is going on. Bringing in a sample of his stool to check for common issues as well as scheduling a complete exam may be best if he doesn't improve within 24 hours.
