Q. We have 2 yr old male cat he started yesterday throwing up what looked like spitty substance, then today has spit up his food & throwing up bile

Answered By

A. If your cat has been vomiting for more than a day and is unable to keep anything down including food and water, it is best to schedule a veterinary appointment ASAP. It is possible that he may have a blockage or severe digestive distress preventing him from being able to keep food down. Your vet will likely recommend bloodwork and an X-ray to check for blockages and other illnesses that could be preventing him from keeping his food down.
