Q. 4 yr old cat has just been sick - bile with blood present no clumps, still fairly lively but unusually needy and doesn't like tummy touched. What do?

Answered By

A. If your cat is vomiting bloody bile and has abdominal tenderness it is best to seek veterinary care. It is possible there is an issue with the liver, gallbladder or pancreas causing the vomiting you are seeing, and bloodwork, X-ray, and veterinary treatment may be beneficial in resolving the issue.
