Q. Lab/pit mix 2 yrs old ran around in snowy icy conditions and since has been lethargic, less active and hot& edemamatous area- outer upper thigh, help?

Answered By

A. If your dog was running around in icy conditions it is possible she may have injured herself. Swelling, visible wounds, lethargy, etc can all indicate an injury has occurred. It is best to schedule a veterinary visit to have the area looked at and to limit all activity until she can be seen so that there is not further injury done.
