Q. my springer spaniel born 12/15/15 we live in central Pa with lots of ticks. I have concerns re age of shots for Lymes Vaccine that contains lepto

Answered By

A. Depending on the product you use, flea and tick medications can be safely used in puppies 8-12 weeks of age, which may help prevent a tick from hopping on until your dog is vaccinated. The lyme/lepto vaccine should be able to be given safely at the same time as your puppy's other series of puppy vaccinations.
