Q. My kitten keeps eating small objects, such as pieces of paper and strings. What should I do?

Answered By

A. Some cats find things like that amusing and fun to play with but of course those items are not safe if ingested. So, it's best to keep things put away which could be harmful and provide kitten safe alternatives instead as well as doing games and exercises with the kitten yourself daily with items such as a wand toy, tossing a small kitty approved ball, laser pointer, etc.

Cats also love toys infused with catnip. Your local pet store should have a good selection of options that are safer than household items.
